October Belt Testing
We will be having our upcoming online belt testing through Zoom and the process will be similar to last belt testing.
FIRST, the online belt testing date will be:
Oct 28th (Wed), or
Oct 29th (Thur)
We have posted the online belt testing schedule on our website (https://www.victorytkdcenter.com/events) and Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/victorytkdcenter/). There, you can find the specific time for your child.
SECOND, I understand that with COVID-19 still prevalent, there are many financial difficulties. Therefore, the cost of testing will be reduced:
Tiny and Super Heroes: $40
Color and Black Belt: $50
THIRD, there are two different payment methods and this should be done while the studio is open (3-8pm from Mon-Fri).
Pay with your card through the phone (562-907-2700)
Pay at the Whittier Studio (11758 E. Whittier Blvd.)
FOURTH, after paying, parents must come to the Whittier Studio during our operating hours to pick up your child's certificate, new belt, and board. The reason for this is that we wish to have the parents present the certificate and belt for their child during the ceremony. Also, this test requires students to break the board using their break technique.
NOTE: the deadline to pay and pick up the certificate and belt is Oct 27th (Tuesday) at 7pm.
FIFTH, please follow the steps below:
Download the testing application for your child's belt from our website:
Provide the following information on the application (this can also be found on the bottom of your child's testing application)
Fill out the basic information of the application (i.e. name, email, phone #)
Provide the answer to your child's question
Circle or highlight the testing date
Email the application to us at email@example.com
Pay through phone or at the studio
Pick up certificate, belt, and board
Go to our Website/Facebook/YouTube Channel to find the curriculum that they will be tested on and practice:

Fake Email Account
One of our parents contacted us saying that he/she received an email from "GMK1328@gmail.com," which contained inappropriate content. Needless to say, that email does not belong to Victory Taekwondo or Grand Master Kim.
We have reported this email account to Google and they will conduct a thorough investigation.
If you receive an email from that account or other accounts that seem related to our studio, please let us know.
The only email accounts associated with Victory are the following:

Dear Victory Community,
Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate the fluid situation surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to concerns for the safety of our students and staff, we have closed our studios for the time being.
We have decided to move to ONLINE classes through ZOOM starting Monday, March 23rd. Please check our NEW CLASS SCHEDULE on our social media and website. Also, students may take MORE THAN TWO classes per week! With everyone’s help, we can do it!
The main purpose of this online training program is to keep the students physically active and healthy in a safe environment at home.
